Kynseed is still in Early Access at the moment, but is receiving constant, essential updates. This farming adventure RPG from several former Lionhead creators (who worked on the Fable franchise) has the makings of a great Stardew. Your farm is a bit smaller than what you’re probably used to in Stardew Valley, but partly because you’ll spend most of your time exploring the village’s ancient forests and immersing yourself in its strange fairy-tale myths. No wonder it has a big, fairy-tale atmosphere of Albion to it, and that’s a really good thing.
What will ultimately set Kynseed apart from other farming simulators is its ability to grow old, have children, and then assume the role of said offspring in a very similar way to the current independent hack and slasher Children of Morta. Every action you take and every decision you make will be carried over to each new generation and the idea is that it will slowly create a lasting family legacy to accompany you through the game.
At the moment, however, it is only the beginning and now everyone is stuck in the eternal state of adolescent childhood. Still, if the PixelCount Studios developers can keep their promises, it could be Stardew-like to end all Stardew-like.

Sweeter fruits this season
Where it matters, Farming Simulator 22 has really improved. The driving mechanics feel even more authentic and the machines noticeably strain when the load is too heavy or tries to pull / push the tool uphill. Physics and weight distribution seem to behave more reliably, though still not quite up to par with the championship of the SnowRunner giant machines.
Still, between new gameplay mechanics, improved graphics, and deeper elements, it’s the strongest entry in the series in a while. I wasn’t impressed with its predecessor, but Farming Simulator 22 made me feel more than satisfied.
While I still want the Giants to build on this, and believe that a lot of deeper mechanics can be added, Farming Simulator 22 is a notable step in the right direction. The team promises to listen to your feedback and want to make appropriate improvements, so hopefully this post will grow significantly in the next few years; all of this in addition to the excellent community support that you are sure to receive.

The three maps in the game are new:
Elmcreek: It is inspired by the US Midwest region. It offers large areas, vast open spaces, and many rivers across the country.
The map includes small towns, motorway gas stations and a small stadium.
