Our prayers on the first day of E3 have been answered: Anthem was juicy meat at the EA Play hub at E3 2018. We now have a release date and a lot more about the balance between single and multiplayer modes. Bioware’s Iron Man simulator was initially picked as Destiny’s rival, but without PvP, Anthem becomes its own beast.

E3 2018 has finally arrived – almost. Even though the actual show won’t start on Tuesday, Sony, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Square Enix, Nintendo, Bethesda and basically every other big brand in gaming will take the stage in the next few days to kick off the conference with tons of announcements.

9 things to expect from E3 2018, the biggest week in games
Monday, June 11th
Square Enix
When: Monday, June 11 at 10:00 AM FRI / 1:00 PM ET
What: Square Enix is making its first appearance on E3 since 2015. We know Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III will be in the spotlight. But Square Enix also has a game in the pipeline based on the popular Marvel Avengers franchise. And what better time to announce it than after the hype about Infinity War? In addition, there are rumors of new entries in the Just Cause and Life Is Strange series. Or maybe, just maybe, an update to the probably mythical Final Fantasy VII Remake (or even Final Fantasy XVI).
