Here’s where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090
Finding where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is almost comically hard.
Not only is the 400 499 graphics card aimed at professionals and enthusiasts, so it’s not designed to carry massive volumes, exorbitantly high demand and low supply, with the added nuisance of scalpers, means tracking down the GeForce RT 3090 replenishment is a nightmare.
As of December 16, there are no GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards in stock, at least at reasonable prices. But check back regularly on our retailer lists here to see if the GeForce RTX 3090’s stock has been replenished.
But if you choose to be patient and wait out the restocking mess, remember that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series is expected to hit the market in 2022. Moreover, if you still can’t find the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 card, why not try the Nvidia GeForce Now RTX 3080.

There is a good chance that you will likely have a hard time getting a GeForce RTX 3090 anytime soon. But if you really care about a powerful GPU and other parts of your PC that need to be refreshed, you might just opt for a brand new gaming machine.
Alienware, Cyberpower, Falcon Northwest, iBUYPOWER, Maingear, Origin all offer desktops with the GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card as a graphics card option, including versions of our top gaming PCs. Just remember that these are very expensive computers that cost several thousand dollars. However, you’ll end up with a computer that will basically chew on almost any game you can easily throw as the top setting.
If all of this seems a little too much, remember the AMD Big Navi is on its way on October 28th. It seems to offer some serious power, potentially at prices that will undercut Nvidia’s new graphics cards. So if you’ve failed to secure the new Nvidia GeForce 3000 Series GPU, then this fall, the graphics world has even more to offer.

Amazon continues to list the extremely expensive RTX 3090 products. Third party sellers are still trying to capitalize on the GPUs they have in stock. Everything is chaos.
How do I manually check for RTX 3090 stocks?
There are two ways.
- Bookmark the Nvidia RTX 3090 store page. Lists all the sources and prices they sell at. However, availability is not confirmed until you click the green “Check Availability” button as these stocks are disposed of just as quickly as the frame rate you will get with the GPU.
- Visit the TechRadar “Where to Buy Nvidia RTX 3090” page. It also has a handy list of all the platforms that sell the RTX 3090. Additionally, it has a “Best Today’s Deals” section that lists Amazon Sponsored Deals according to your region – which can be beneficial if you live outside of the US.
You can also follow the US editor-in-chief of TechRadar helping people by tweeting the stocks available for the GPU along with the PS5 and Xbox. Matt Świder on Twitter.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a 32-inch Dell UltraSharp UP3218K monitor, you’ll have to spend close to $ 4,000 on it, setting it to about the same level as a typical 8K TV.
The RTX 3090 Ti is expected to have larger memory modules
Another important awaited update, as reported by WCCFTech, is the use of 2 GB GDDR6X memory modules. The current RTX 3090 only has 1GB of memory, so this change means the RTX 3090 Ti can provide the same amount of memory at slightly lower temperatures (as there are fewer memory modules to cool down).
This improved performance means Nvidia will be able to squeeze more performance out of the RTX 3090 Ti, although there is a potential catch. Current rumors suggest that the RTX 3090 Ti has an expected power draw of at least 450 watts – 100 watts more than what the RTX 3090 requires. Extra power consumption should not be a problem for users, however. Since the RTX 3090 already costs thousands of dollars, any potential RTX 3090 Ti buyer would have no trouble paying for its higher energy requirements.
The RTX 3090 Ti should showcase the full potential of the RTX 30 series

Another significant difference between the RTX 3090 Ti and the RTX 3090 is that the former is to have access to the full GA102 GPU core. The GA102 chip has been the basis of Nvidia’s flagship 30 series cards so far, but no gaming card at the consumer level has yet used its full capacity. (Both the RTX A6000 and A40 take full advantage of the GA102’s capabilities, but these cards are thousands of dollars more expensive than the RTX 30 series and are designed for professional workloads.)
The GA102-350-A1 chip, which is almost confirmed to be present in the RTX 3090 Ti, will have 10,752 CUDA cores, compared to the 10,496 CUDA cores in the RTX 3090. This isn’t particularly useful for games, but for those who use their own gaming PC for heavy-duty tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning and video encoding, the extra cores will help increase your productivity.
Nvidia has revealed that its RTX 3090 Ti will have 40 teraflops of shader, 78 teraflops of RT, and 320 teraflops of tensors. By comparison, the standard RTX 3090 has 36 teraflops of shading, an increase of 10.5 percent. Meanwhile, there is an increase of about 12% compared to the 69 RT teraflops of the RTX 3090 model. Similarly, the tensor teraflops achieved an 11.6% increase.
Not only is the 150.499 graphics card aimed at professionals and enthusiasts, so it’s not designed to carry massive amounts, exorbitantly high demand and low supply, with the added nuisance of scalpers, means tracking down the GeForce RT 3090 replenishment is a nightmare.
Here’s where you can buy an RTX 3090, along with the 8K TV you’ll need to go with it
Nvidia’s monstrous RTX 3090 arrives. Premiere today at 6am PT / 2pm BST, Nvidia’s so-called “BFGPU” will purportedly bring 8K gaming to the masses – a rather pointless endeavor as far as I’m concerned, especially since the only 8K displays you can buy right now are mostly exorbitant 8K TVs . Still, if nothing but the best of the best is enough and you don’t care how much it costs to get there, here’s a list of all the places you can currently buy the RTX 3090, as well as places where you can get that all-important 8K display that has been it fits. PLAY your wallet.
I have listed below all the retailers who currently have active product pages for the RTX 3090 in the UK and US. Nvidia has already apologized for the low inventory levels, confirming previous reports that it will likely be one of the smallest GPU launches Nvidia has ever had. Indeed, following the catastrophic short-lived launch of the RTX 3080 last week, retailers may find themselves selling out fairly quickly as those buy buttons are triggered at 6am PT / 2pm BST.
Where to buy an RTX 3090
If you’re determined to get the Founders Edition RTX 3090, you’ll need to head over to the Nvidia Store as at the time of this writing, only they are selling this version of the RTX 3090:
If you’d rather try your luck with a third-party card, the links below will take you to the landing pages for each reseller’s current RTX 3090 shipment. Just make sure you hit that refresh button at the release time dot.
Where to buy the RTX 3090 in the UK:
– Pre-order cards – Not available – Pre-order cards, earliest availability September 29 – many cards not available, except Gigabyte RTX 3090 Gaming OC and Gigabyte RTX 3090 Eagle OC, now available for delivery – all cards out of stock – all cards are unavailable
Where to buy the RTX 3090 in the US:
– Not all cards – Not all cards – Not all cards – Not all cards – Not all cards
Several retailers have yet to confirm official pricing for all of their RTX 3090 stocks, but so far it looks like the UK’s cheapest RTX 3090 cards are at Currys PC World, where you’ll find a selection of £ 1,400 cards including the Gigabyte Eagle OC, Asus TUF Gaming and MSI Ventus 3X OC.
As for the United States, the cheapest cards appear to be in Newegg, with Gigabyte Eagle OC, Zotac Trinity and Asus TUF Gaming cards which are available for $ 1,499 at the time of writing, which is the same price as the Nvidia Founders Edition.
Where to buy an 8K TV
If you want to go all out and get an 8K display for your RTX 3090, be prepared to open up these wallets even more, as the living man is 8K TVs and 8K monitors at the moment being expensive. Samsung, LG and Sony are the big names that currently make 8K TVs, and to give you a rough idea of how much an 8K TV costs, the cheapest I’ve found so far is the £ 1499 LG 55NANO956NA 55in. Then you look at paying £ 1999 for the 55 inch Samsung QEQ700TATXXU, and from there it only goes up.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Custom Model Details Leak Out, EVGA’s KINGPIN Variant To Rock Dual 12-Pin Connectors For Up To 1275W Power Input
The leak comes from QuasarZone forums (via Harukze5719) that have released preliminary details about the flagship next-generation EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN graphics card. We expect AIB to go all out with their flagship designs with the NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti, and it looks like the Ti will really push things to the extreme.
It was stated that the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN will feature a completely new PCB and shield design compared to the existing variant. It also means that the power circuits and connectors have also been modified. A forum member reveals that EVGA has moved from triple 8-pin to dual 12-pin (Gen 5 standard). We know from previous leaks that each 12-pin connector will consume up to 600 W of power, which is (theoretically max.) 1200 W from the plugs alone and an additional 75 W from the PCIe interface. This would certainly require a lot of cooling and therefore the cover was changed, so we can probably expect it to be much more durable than the already massive KINGPIN construction.
EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN data is reportedly leaked. (Image credits: QuasarZone)
Other details suggest that the card will have a very high price tag compared to existing custom NVIDIA RTX 3090 models, and EVGA (and most likely other AIBs as well) will likely end production of existing RTX 3090 graphics cards. Although the board has been changed, EVGA is said to still fine-tunes the card, so a KINGPIN model release is not expected until at least March 2022. The PCB change also means existing Hydro Copper waterblocks will not be compatible with the new card, meaning users planning to upgrade to a “Ti” model they will have to purchase completely new water blocks.
“Alleged” NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti specifications
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is expected to be a Titan-class card again. In terms of specs, the 3090 Ti is expected to shake the full GA102 GPU core with 10752 cores and 24GB of GDDR6X memory. The memory will be clocked faster thanks to the improved matrices from Micron, which will increase the speed above 20 Gb / s. Prices may stay the same at $ 1,499 (MSRP), but overall we expect a slight improvement of $ 5.
Earlier rumor also said that the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card will have a TGP of over 400W. That’s 50W more than the current 3090, meaning we can be looking at faster GPU and VRAM clocking.
There have also been rumors of a brand new power connector that will be available in MicroFit format but won’t look like an existing connector. The new 16-pin connector will be PCIe Gen 5.0 ready and will provide some current stability for the next-generation protocol to be introduced on the flagship card.
