How To Do Split Screen In Warzone

Call Of Duty Warzone is a multiplayer thriller that lets friends play with other friends. The new crossplay expansion will allow friends to play together on PS4, Xbox One and PC, expanding our friends list. Split-screen, however, is a different type of gameplay.

It is currently not possible to play Warzone in split-screen mode. Screen split is only available in multiplayer modes.

If you want to play split-screen multiplayer, we’ll show you how in this article.

Split Screen In Warzone

If you’ve played Warzone, you may have noticed that there is an “add a controller to split screen” option at the top of the screen.

Logging in to a second controller on the Xbox or PS4 will allow the user to press A or X and log in.

As soon as the user logs in, they will be prompted to display an error screen that Warzone does not support the split scenario.

This feature has not yet been unlocked for split-screen play.

Hopefully they’ll have split-screen soon, as if they weren’t going to, there would be no reason for this text to appear on the screen.

Call Of Duty has not announced that a split screen will be available in the popular battle royale mode.

Warzone has been unavailable for a while, and the game itself is in a fairly stable state when it comes to server and overall stability. However, it usually takes a huge increase in the number of players for errors such as “Unable to access live services.

For PC gamers, upgrading the DNS server to access Call of Duty servers provides the ability to play Warzone.

To do this, search for “View network connections” in the search bar. Right-click on the connection you are using and select “Properties.’

Click the “Network” tab and click “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)”. At the bottom of the “General” tab, check the “Use the following DNS server addresses” box.

Enter the new DNS server manually. We chose which is Google’s DNS server and one of the most popular servers to choose from. After entering the new DNS server, click OK.

Restart Warzone and you should jump right into the game without any problems.

For PlayStation players unable to connect to online services, you can also change the DNS server in the console settings.

Go to “Settings”, then select “Network” and “View Connection Status”. Make a note of the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway as this information will be extremely important later in the process.

Select “Network” and start setting up a new internet connection. Select Wi-Fi or LAN connection depending on your configuration, and then select “Custom” configuration. Select “Manual” in the IP address settings and enter the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway you wrote down earlier.

For the primary DNS server, enter and for the secondary DNS server, enter These are Google’s DNS servers and are often reliable in games. Click Next and select the MTU settings as Automatic.

Log in to Warzone again and the pesky loading screen will disappear!

When servers have trouble keeping up with the player base, they don’t necessarily crash. There is also a good chance that you just received the “Unable to Access Live Services” error due to bad luck. To make sure that you just weren’t out of luck, you should try restarting Warzone.

Restarting the game will just let you try reaching its servers again, and you can just squeeze through the crowd to get to Warzone.

Reset your router

Receiving the error “Unable to access live services” while the servers are up and running can only be explained by local connectivity problems. Home network quality can cause connectivity issues like this particular error.

Resetting your router is one of the easiest troubleshooting steps you can try to fix your home network as it will allow you to re-establish the connection route between you and your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

When restarting your router, you should also restart your gaming device as minor software glitches can cause similar errors in rare cases. Doing these two things at the same time will save you time and cover two bases.

In most cases, this error should disappear over time. If it came out due to a server related bug, more players like you will be reporting the bug to the developers and a fix should be on its way within hours.

Check the Warzone server status

If you get a “unable to connect to online services” notification while trying to play a Call of Duty: Warzone game, you want to check out two places to find out what is going on with the game’s servers. The first location will be the Activision website, which displays useful information about the game servers on all PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms. You will be able to choose the platform from which you want to learn about the server issues and see if there is anything the Activision support team shares on the issues you are experiencing. In general, if there is an update on the day of release or a major live event, you will see a “restricted” sign at the top of the page next to “all platforms” or for specific platforms that are experiencing issues. There will be a “more information” link next to this icon, which you can click to learn more.

Another location you can check if Activision’s website is helping you is the Down Detector website. The site describes what issues players are reporting, indicating that they are having trouble logging into the game or if the Warzone servers are not responding.

These two sites are extremely helpful in letting you know that your site or Activision is causing your “unable to connect to online services” error. When you see a lot of activity on these two sites, you know the problem is with a lot of people trying to play Warzone, and you’d better take a break from playing until the servers become less populated.

Restart Call of Duty: Warzone

After verifying that all servers are running in Call of Duty: Warzone, try logging out of the game and restarting it. You may have more luck with the new Warzone app running, especially if you are experiencing these issues while playing on your PC. You can even do a full platform restart to see if performing a new power cycle makes it easier.

After restarting the game and the platform it is running on, the next step is to check if the problems are coming from your internet connection. Go to your home router, disconnect it for 15 seconds, then reconnect it. You may have to wait a few minutes for everything to restart to see if the new connection is making it easier to connect to the Warzone servers. After restarting your router, you can try switching back to another Warzone game to see if you are more fortunate enough to connect and avoid the error message “Unable to connect to online services.

If you are using a Wi-Fi connection, we strongly recommend that you use a wired connection to improve your connection to Warzone’s servers.

First, when you fall, firing your parachute and then cutting the lines gives you a brief speed boost and throws you more aggressively forward, allowing you to traverse the terrain faster to get to your chosen landing zone.

Fix 4: Repair system files

In addition to game files, corrupted system files can also prevent Warzone from opening. You can use the System File Checker (sfc / scannow) tool to search for any critical system problems, but in most cases it only scans main files and can skip minor issues.

You may need a more powerful tool to repair the system, so we recommend giving

The repair is available in the paid version of Reimage, which is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you run into any issues while using Reimage, please contact their free tech support.

Fix 5: Make sure your system is up-to-date

If your Windows system is not updated regularly, it is possible that some system settings are no longer compatible with the game. You can check for the latest Windows Update and install it by following the steps below:

You may be prompted to restart during the update process. Be sure to save your work and important files in advance.

If the problem persists after performing a Windows update, please try the next hotfix below.

Pick up contracts whenever you can

However, if you are put off by the $ 10,000 cost of an Equipment Drop, there are a couple of good ways to earn cash and loot while navigating the map – Contracts. They are labeled for you and fall into several types: Bounties (and Big Game Bounties), Scout, Scout, Most Wanted, Supply Drop, Supply Run, and [TOP SECRET].

Bounties assign you one player on the map within a radius that shrinks as you approach him, giving you a certain amount of time to locate him and kill him and reward him if he dies. The handy thing is that if you take a reward and someone else kills that player, you still get a smaller reward. There are no downsides to choosing one of them – it will tell you where the player is and you will get XP just for starting the game. The Grand Game Bounty can only be selected once per game and the goal is who in the lobby has the most kills for bigger rewards.

Gathering Contracts line up a string of three Loot Chests you can find and open, with solid loot and a cash reward upon completion of the set. You’ll also get a guaranteed drop of the Satchel armor when finished, allowing one player to hold up to 8 plates. Again, these are no thoughts, although they are very popular targets at the beginning of matches.

In the meantime, scouts will show you a capture point that you can block, and you may feel a bit more risky. They require you to remain still for a while, sometimes in the open. However, they will tell you where the wheel is going to be, which is a huge tactical benefit and are favorites for seasoned players, and you can gather this information if you move fast.

Most Wanted is a double-edged sword. You are marked as a target for everyone on the map for three minutes, but if you make it through this time limit, not only do you get a cash reward, but all dead teammates immediately return to the game, whether they are in the gulag or see.

A supply drop knocks a precious supply crate out of the air and tells your team exactly where it will land, while everyone else in the lobby can see it and attempt to intercept without this guidance.

The Supply Run gives you a limited time to reach a specially marked purchase station. Get there on time and you’ll enjoy personal discounts on your next purchase (including a free self rejuvenation kit or redemption) that will give you an edge in the future.

Finally, [TOP SECRET] gives you a random upgraded prize contract to compensate for a lottery you’re playing in.

The last word, however, is that these contracts are not only good for loot and money – they also give you a short-term goal to strive for, and are a great way to make the game more organized and less guesswork. Honestly, exploding in a game where you’ve checked off a few contracts is more fun than hiding in one place for 20 minutes and then dying.

Share your resources

We mention squads all the time, and while you can play Warzone in Solo mode, the goal is for most players to join the squad in the main Battle Royale mode. So we encourage you to think tactically as a team. If you’re sitting with full armor and five spare plates while your squadmates suck, drop a few plates so they can pick them up.

The same applies to cash and ammunition – it is often the case that only by collecting cash you can buy, for example, an equipment marker. In the long run, this will encourage more selfless play.

When you travel around Verdansk you will want to keep an eye on your flares. Red flares indicate someone has just bought in on the purchase window, and yellow flares indicate someone is scouting.

Call of Duty: Warzone tips

Here are Warzone’s top tips to keep you away from the Gulag and secure you a helicopter seat in the end-game season 6.

Choose your drop wisely

We all have our favorite drop-off spots in Call of Duty: Warzone, but they’re not always profitable. Make sure you know several locations well enough so that you can fall with the certainty that you don’t get surrounded or tagged from a tall skyscraper.

Unless you are an aggressive player, you will also want to avoid locations directly below the flight path as these will be the main targets for experienced squads. The Verdansk Superstore and Stadium and Rebirth Island Prison Block are generally favored by many of Twitch’s biggest streamers and have therefore become very popular in the Warzone community. So if you’re new to the game it’s probably best to avoid these two locations for now.

Work on your skydiving

Almost every location on the map is accessible from the standard flight path – just master the parachute skills. You will need to open your parachute early to get to the edge of the circle. But if you plan on taking some distance, you’ll also want to dive in and reopen a couple of times.

Oh, and use your gun. You can shoot people in the air while diving, so if you see another pesky player heading for your drop, soften it up a bit before landing.

Warzone Tips: Two players jump off the dam in Verdansk

Learn to love contracts

Need cash, loot or intelligence? There is a deal for that. Verdansk has many contracts on offer and they all offer something different. Some are situational, like Most Wanted contracts, but others can be claimed at any time during the game.

Scouting contracts are great because they give you an early warning of the next tier. If you do many of them in a row, you can narrow the circles all the way down, which gives you a positional advantage over all the others.

Gathering Contracts will give you three stashes in the selected area to find and unlock. They’ll give you tons of loot, so it’s a great option when you’re stuck behind weapons or cash.

Reward contracts do what they say on the tin and turn you and your squad into killers. If you – or someone else – are hunting your chosen player, you will be rewarded in cash. They can also be used in later circles to gather information about players’ positions.

Supply contracts will allow you to buy back a teammate for free or buy a killstreak at a discounted price if you reach a specific shopping window in time. The best time to use them is later in the middle of the game when you’ve already bought someone. The surviving player may collect the supply, while the returning player may land on the purchase box. This will allow them to set up quickly and / or bring a friend back for free.

Most Wanted contracts allow you to award a reward for bringing back all dead teammates. It’s worth noting, however, that they can also be used by aggressive teams to lure unsuspecting players, so be careful.

Share your equipment

Sharing is a concern, isn’t it? You can drop weapons, ammo, cash, and armor in Warzone, so if one of your teammates is struggling with loot – especially if it was bought back at the end of the game – go into your inventory and drop a few things. It might just save your life.

Don’t be too hard on yourself

The winning games in Call of Duty: Warzone will come with time. It’s easy to have a string of bad games, but don’t worry too much about losers – the beauty of battle royale games is that they are all different. If you persevere, you will eventually come out on top.

That’s all our Call of Duty Warzone season 6 tips for now. So now you’re all oriented, get out there and get that dub.
