If that sounds too good to be true, you probably won’t be surprised to learn that there are a few limitations. The content of the Battle Pass is divided into Pages, and you must complete the previous pages and / or level up before you can get into the higher ones, which (for most people’s money, I believe) contain the best things.

5 Steps to Get Your Fortnite Battle Pass to Tier 100 Every Season
The Fortnite Battle Pass is a way to earn over 100 exclusive rewards, including skins, pickaxes, emotes, and more.
There are 100 levels and there are rewards for each level.
You start at level 1 and require 10 Battle Pass stars per level. That’s why you need a total of 990 Battle Pass stars to unlock everything.
Reaching level 100 typically takes 75 to 150 hours of gameplay. This is because you don’t have access to all challenges from the very beginning.
Of course, you can purchase up to 100 levels for 150 V-Bucks each. But since you get free V-Bucks with the Battle Pass, I don’t recommend buying levels.
As you read every word of this guide and follow each step exactly as I wrote, you will learn how to unlock everything. Without spending money.
Okay. Let’s get started.
Step 1: Collect all your daily challenges
Each Daily Challenge is worth 5 Battle Pass stars and 500 XP.
Because the season is at least 10 weeks (70 days) long. You can get up to 35 levels just through the Daily Challenges.
Even if you complete every Weekly Challenge and gain enough Experience to reach Season Level 100 (most people won’t). You must complete most of the Daily Challenges to complete the Battle Pass.
Most players don’t know this, but all you need to do is log into Fortnite to claim the Daily Challenge. It’s easy to do if you have a smartphone with Fortnite installed.
How many hours a day do you spend on the phone? You certainly have a few minutes to open Fortnite.
You can replace any Daily Challenge that you don’t like or are having difficulty with. But only 1 a day.
Overall, the daily challenges are easy. Here are some of my favorites:
- Survive your opponents in Team Mode
- Survive your opponents in solo mode
- Put the top 50 or 25 in solo mode
- Place the top 12 or 6 in Team Mode
- Play 7 games
The reason I choose these challenges is because I have my own method for meeting them. Do you want to know what it is?
All you have to do is land on the tree in the middle of the first circle. Then you can walk away and in 10 or 15 minutes your challenge will be completed. This works 95% of the time.
There are other easy daily challenges as well. Just like loot crates, play a match with a friend and search ammo crates. But you have to actively play to complete them.
Prior to their conversion, Battle Stars were the method used to “upgrade” the Battle Pass. Each time a player was promoted, he received 2 Battle Stars. It took 10 Battle Stars to complete the Battle Pass level, with the pass offering XP boosts as the pass progressed, allowing you to level up continuously.
What are Battle Stars in Fortnite Season 8?
Battle stars are not a new concept in Fortnite, but were reworked prior to their reintroduction in Season 7. Previously, they counted as a level jump in the Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass is divided into different pages, each page containing different in-game items. Each of these items is assigned a different Battle Star value, and you spend Battle Stars on cosmetics of your choice.
How to earn Fortnite Battle Stars
Luckily, getting Battle Stars is straightforward in Fortnite Season 8; each time you level up you will earn five Battle Stars. Whether it’s completing challenges or buying Battle Pass tiers with V-Bucks, you’ll still earn five battle stars.
You also do not need to own a Battle Pass to earn them, as all players earn the same number of Battle Stars as they rank up, and each page of the Battle Pass includes rewards available to all players during the game.
There is no doubt that the addition of this feature has allowed players to get even more of their favorite cosmetics since their first introduction.

Previous System (Season X and prior)
Prior to their conversion, Battle Stars were the method used to “upgrade” the Battle Pass. Each time a player was promoted, he received 2 Battle Stars. It took 10 Battle Stars to complete the Battle Pass level, with the pass offering XP boosts as the pass progressed, allowing you to level up continuously.
Players received stars when:
- Daily Challenge Completed (5 Stars)
- Complete Weekly Battle Pass Challenge (5 stars)
- Completed Challenging Weekly Battle Pass (10 Stars) Challenge
- Promoted after level 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 (2 stars)
- Promoted when level 5 finished (5 stars)
- Promoted when level 0 ended (10 stars)
- Obtained a Secret Battle Star from the map (10 Stars)
- Completed a limited-time challenge (miscellaneous)
Secret Battle Stars
Secret Battle Stars are super secret levels that could only be found with the hints from the respective week’s loading screen. The clues may differ from the faint Battle Star in the image or the Ex coordinates. A1 SW (which would lead to the south-west reference corner of grid A1).
For example: The location of Secret Battle Star in the first week of Season 5: Battle Star was at an umbrella on the ground near Lazy Links.
Fortnite is famous for working with other popular franchises. Epic Games introduced a multitude of crossovers from the Star Wars universe to Battle Royale.
Battle Stars Are Back
This season, the Battle Stars return to the Battle Pass with a fun new twist. Every time you level up, whether by playing and completing Challenges to earn XP or purchasing a Battle Pass tier with V-Bucks, you’ll earn 5 extra Battle Stars. Use your Battle Stars to earn a bundle of amazing Battle Pass rewards in the order of your choice!
Cosmetics are no longer tied to reaching certain seasonal levels with the new Battle Pass. Instead, you will earn Battle Stars when you reach the next level, and you can exchange them for Battle Pass rewards in the order of your choice.
As you level up and claim rewards, more Battle Pass pages will unlock, offering new reward options to choose from. Want to pick up the abduction smudges on the front page right away? No problem. Or maybe you’d rather stick with your Battle Stars and level up to open up the other side and get your new Space Age Lobby Track first – the choice is yours!
Each side of the Battle Pass also has a special locked reward, such as the punk rock believer Sunny or the synthetic artist Guggimon, only available after claiming all other rewards on that page. Find your favorites and be the first to grab them as you try to reach level 100 and collect the intergalactic traveler Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty. After claiming all 100 Battle Pass rewards, you can continue to exchange your Battle Stars for a selection of elegant new costume styles for Doctor Slone and more on additional bonus rewards pages.
You don’t have a combat pass? Don’t worry, all players earn the same number of Battle Stars on each level, and each page of the Battle Pass contains rewards available to all players during the game.
Transform Kymera
Purchasing the Battle Pass will instantly unlock the face-changing alien, Kymera. With over 800,000 combinations of head shapes, eye and skin colors, armor patterns and colors to choose from, you’re sure to find a style that fits! If the look of the one-eyed squid is no longer in vogue, don’t worry – you are free to mix and match any of the unlocked style options at any time.
So how do you create the perfect look for this look changing alien? By collecting alien artifacts! Discover invasive parts of the island each week or form teams and discover the secret of space chests hidden in crystals to collect alien artifacts. Like Battle Stars, they can be exchanged to earn additional styles for Kymera that will permanently expand your selection of custom alien appearances.
The invasion has arrived, and with the new Season 7 Chapter 2 Battle Pass, your rewards are in your hands.
Most players don’t know this, but all you need to do is log into Fortnite to claim the Daily Challenge. It’s easy to do if you have a smartphone with Fortnite installed.
How to unlock pages in Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass
When you purchase a Battle Pass for the Season, you will automatically gain access to Page 1 of the Battle Pass.
To unlock the remaining pages, you must purchase enough items from the previous pages or be promoted above a certain rank. Additional pages will be unlocked at the following points:
- Page 2: Get 5 rewards on page 1 or reach level 10.
- Page 3: Get 11 rewards on pages 1-2 or reach level 20.
- Page 4: Receive 18 rewards on pages 1-3 or reach level 30.
- Page 5: Receive 26 rewards on pages 1-4 or reach level 40.
- Page 6: Receive 36 rewards on pages 1-5 or reach level 50.
- Page 7: Receive 48 rewards on pages 1-6 or reach level 60.
- Page 8: Receive 61 rewards on pages 1-7 or reach level 70.
- Page 9: Receive 75 rewards on pages 1-8 or reach level 80.
- Page 10: Get 90 rewards on pages 1-9 or reach level 90.
In addition to the main Battle Pass pages, there are also bonus reward pages. You can unlock them only after you have collected all 100 items from the main battle pass.
The second page of the bonus rewards will be available once you have earned a total of 105 rewards (i.e all 100 from the main Battle Pass, plus five from the first page of the bonus rewards). The next three bonus prize pages are currently blocked and unavailable for viewing, and will likely be available later in the season.
Finally, the season’s DC Comics content is unlocked with a unique set of Superman pages, regardless of the battle pass or bonus content. However, this content will not launch properly before day 65 of the season – which we believe is August 12. Until then, you can view upcoming content, but can’t report anything.
How much do Fortnite Season 7’s rewards cost in Battle Stars?
There are currently 114 items available in the Battle Pass and Bonus Rewards, and at least 31 more will be added to Bonus Rewards and Special DC Comics Pages during the season.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 started with a slightly different Battle Pass system. Instead of progressing through levels and unlocking content linearly as you progress, you now get Battle Stars to spend on unlocking the content you like first.
How Do I Unlock New Items In My Battle Pass?
In Season 7, you don’t unlock items at every level you reach. Instead, you use Battle Stars to unlock anything you want on specific pages, which are usually bundles for a specific skin. This means you can unlock anything you want, in any order, as long as you’ve spent the Battle Stars on the previous pages or reached certain levels.
To unlock new pages and bundles, you must either spend your Battle Stars on new rewards or reach a certain level.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass explained
Before you can get the new Season 7 Battle Pass skins, you’ll need to purchase everything on the site or in a bundle before they are available for purchase. This is basically the same as on the old system, but while you used to just automatically unlock them before, now you have to take some extra steps to take advantage of them.
This is a very strange decision by Epic that will ultimately confuse players. It seems they are trying more than ever to gamify the Battle Pass system, which might put people off – the old Battle Pass system worked so well for so long because it was simple and easy to understand with clear goals. Here? Not so much.
How Much is The Battle Pass?
As always with every new season, the Season 7 Battle Pass will set you back 950 V-Bucks. You can also unlock access to the Battle Pass by purchasing the Fortnite Crew subscription, which also provides an exclusive cosmetic item and 1,000 V-Bucks each season.
Fortnite is available for free on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Android.
