Are Amazon Prime and Prime Gaming Different?
Prime Gaming and Amazon Prime are technically different programs, however subscribing to one automatically unlocks your subscription to the other. You can also interpret Prime Gaming as part of Amazon Prime in the same way as Prime Video. Amazon Prime is the umbrella under which all of the company’s other Prime programs run.
The free Twitch subscription provided by Prime Gaming is priced at only $ 4.99, the lowest subscription tier. This subscription works exactly as if you paid for it out of your own pocket, so the streamer gets 50 percent of the total donation fee, around 3,500.50, and Twitch keeps the rest.
After the end of the free trial period, you will be automatically billed for the next billing period. If you want to avoid fees, please cancel the free trial period before its end.
Twitch Prime
Twitch Prime is one of the many perks of being an Amazon Prime member. It brings some “free” features and services to Twitch’s streaming platform. If you already have an Amazon Prime membership, you already have access to Twitch Prime. This service includes:
Twitch Channel Subscription
Receive a monthly subscription to a Twitch channel for use on the selected Partner or Affiliate channel. Using this subscription gives you access to exclusive channel benefits that come with your regular subscription, such as chat permissions, badges, and emoticons.
This means Amazon will pay for a single subscription to whatever streamer you want to support. The main difference between this and traditional subscription is that you have to renew your subscription every month, while the traditional subscription repeats itself.
Access Games with Prime and In-Game Content
This month’s Games with Prime, April 2020, includes access to Earthlock, Kathy Rain: A Detective is Born, Turok, Etherborn, and Lightmatter. Approving any of these games downloads the game to your Amazon Games app. After downloading the game, just log in and play!
In-game items included in Twitch Prime are often weapons, outfits, character skins, boost packs, and in-game currency. This is a great little bonus when you play one of these games when the offer comes up.

Loot Gifting
Receive three additional copies of select Twitch Prime loot for gift to other Twitch community members.
If the community you subscribe to is using the Community Gift Chest feature, you can gift a copy of the loot of your choice. When adding an item to a chest, it is randomly given to a community member during broadcast.
Exclusive Emoticons
Access these additional KappaHD, ScaredyCat and more emotes exclusive to Twitch Prime and Turbo members. These are available through the regular emoji tab in the chat bar and will be displayed in the Prime tab.
Expanded Chat Color Options
Members can set unique chat colors for their name at any time by going to their Prime settings. Use a set of three RGB sliders to select a personal color, rather than choosing from the standard set of fifteen.

Prime Member Chat Badge
Mark your Twitch Prime status with a unique badge in chat. Turn it on and off in Settings. Identify yourself as a Prime member every time you speak if you want.
Extended Broadcast Storage
Save your previous streams on Twitch for 60 days instead of the standard 14 days.
If you’re a streamer using Twitch Prime, you get the same bonus content, but you can also keep broadcasts for 60 days. This means your viewers can come back and catch up on previous broadcasts that they may have missed in the last two months.
Worth it?
The free subscription of your chosen streamer is already $ 5.99. Almost half of your Amazon Prime subscription if you pay monthly. With all the other Amazon Prime features added, such as two-day shipping (or even same-day delivery to eligible zip codes) and Prime Video – a benefit that pays back when you get acquainted with Prime Originals – Twitch Prime simply becomes the icing on the cake. A cake for anyone who enjoys Twitch content.
Just remember to get a free subscription every month so your favorite streamer gets Amazon support!
Amazon Prime bonus!
Twitch Prime
In addition to all the offers and discounts that Amazon Prime offers, you also get Twitch Prime with your subscription. If you link your Twitch and Amazon accounts, you can subscribe to the streamer for free every month and share your support. Both you and the streamer get all the benefits as if you subscribed without Prime.
