Leak reveals Infinity Gauntlet LTM & Thanos are returning to Fortnite

It looks like Marvel, Disney and Epic Games are about to announce the second installment of their partnership for the Avengers franchise. Thanos returns to Fortnite in the (presumably) near future.

While he won’t just wipe out half of the hall… he’s going to be the last one left alive.

Thanos LTM Returning to Fortnite

So how do we know Thanos is returning to Fortnite? Of course, leaks and data explorers. What would we do without them?

This leak comes from @SkinTrackerCom’s Twitter account.

In a tweet at the beginning of version 8.30, data-miner discovered a plethora of new messages about the killings. Most of them were nothing special, just new variations of old messages, but one immediately caught our attention.

In the second painting, the penultimate line reads: “Thanos’ POWER has been delivered.”

While this is not absolute proof of the return of Thanos LTM, time seems to be essentially confirming it. The kills news was added in version 8.30 and EndGame will hit theaters on April 26… in 16 days. The perfect amount of time for a nice LTM run.

The tournament scoring criteria lean heavily towards placement points over eliminations. Teams that earn a Victory Royale will receive a total of 42 points towards their score. Each elimination is worth one point.

Thanos returning to Fortnite?

The good news is Thanos seems to be coming back after the game’s developers posted the obvious tip on Twitter.

What’s the reason for Thanos’s return, I hear you asking? Well, it’s about something called the Thanos Cup coming to Fortnite that was leaked on social media the same day.

According to Fortnite News and Leaks, we can expect the bad Marvel guy to return on Sunday June 21, 2021, although no further details have been released so far.

The Thanos Cup arrives in Fortnite on June 21, 2021.

Exciting times have come again for Fortnite fanatics.

Fortnite’s Thanos mode made experienced players rethink their strategies

I’ve played a fair amount of Fortnite – although Epic paused the timer telling players how many hours they’ve worked for technical reasons I can’t explain, I’m pretty sure I’ve put in over 200 at this point. I love the game’s addictive loop, its online culture and fan base, and also a breakneck developer update cycle that keeps the core experience fresh, fun and varied almost weekly. Having played almost every limited-time game mode since launch, I can say that what surprised me the most about the Infinity War Thanos crossover event was that it was the most polished so far.

What could have been an artificial marketing feat was instead of one of the most exciting experiences Fortnite has ever offered. This has been achieved by forcing even knowledgeable and talented players to rethink almost every strategy they usually use. You didn’t necessarily play it safe as you needed the right loot to fight Thanos, and staying too close to an enemy who had successfully turned into a Marvel villain meant you could be his first victim when he fell back to Earth. Building didn’t help much against the supervillain either, and yet you still needed the materials to fend off human adversaries in the late stage. The mode played completely different than standard Fortnite, and learning how to win was great.

After my first few games, I realized that the standard cycle of looting, fighting, and moving was not quite holding up. The Poisonous Storm, which introduces players into increasingly tight spaces, moved quickly in this mode, getting closer and closer to Thanos and other players vying for a chance to steal his gauntlet. To complicate matters, I learned quite quickly that if you become Thanos early or even closer to the middle of the game, you have a fairly little chance of survival because there are just too many other players firing at the gauntlet. I had fun trying to parachute onto the Infinity Gauntlet immediately, but that didn’t work very well and I quickly abandoned the plan.

I decided to play conservatively and loot as much as I could, but stayed away from Thanos himself until there were 30 or 40 people left. Then I would try to find the moment where his health deteriorated and deliver the killing blow. I only got to play as Violet Titan a few times, and each was extremely rewarding. In my first round as Thanos, I took nine kills before being defeated by a team of cooperating opponents, but regardless, I really felt like I was the most powerful person on the map while wearing the glove. The combination of Thanos’ astronomical jumping abilities, devastating blows and powerful ray attack created interesting combat scenarios. No method seemed appropriate all the time and it was impressivehow balanced Thanos felt amidst all the weapons and environmental factors in the Fortnite sandbox.)

Surprisingly, the two Thanos Mode matches I won were when I wasn’t the title character. One concerned an unlucky and misplaced opponent who dies as Thanos in a storm, to my surprise. The second was to hide in the bushes and land a select few rockets at Thanos’ feet, ensuring a victory I didn’t expect when I first faced him as my last opponent. In both cases, it was hard to earn – rewarding patience, stealth, calculated and skillful combat, and a dose of luck in a way that differed significantly from the standard game modes.

Alternately, you can spend 2,400 V-Bucks to get the full Hawkeye Pack, which will include both outfits and accessories. This is quite a lot and a lot cheaper than buying skins individually.

New Fortnite leak claims lightsabers could return in Star Wars Obi-Wan crossover

Some new Fortnite leaks revealed that the Lightsabers could return as part of the Star Wars Obi-Wan crossover.

Some new Fortnite leaks suggest Epic Games plans to bring the Lightsabers back to Battle Royale as part of the new Star Wars Obi-Wan crossover.

Fortnite is famous for working with other popular franchises. Epic Games introduced a multitude of crossovers from the Star Wars universe to Battle Royale.

The Mandalorian was the protagonist of the Season 5 Battle Pass, and Boba Fett is currently an unlockable skin. Now, some leaks suggest Epic Games is bringing back the Lightsabers as part of the Star Wars Obi-Wan collaboration.

Rey and the Red Stormtrooper using lightsabers in Fortnite

According to the well-known Fortnite leak “FNAssist”, Epic Games re-added the Star Wars lightsaber files in update v19.10. This means they may have plans to bring them back into play in the near future.

Lightsabers are one of the most iconic weapons in movie history and were available as mythical melee weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2. There were four differently colored lightsabers in the game.

Now players are speculating that the weapon could be included in a collaboration with Disney + Star Wars’ upcoming “Obi-Wan” franchise. We can also see how the title character will appear as a new skin.

The main elements of this Fortnite collaboration are the Clint Barton and Kate Bishop outfits. Both characters wear the series’ iconic purple finale costumes, which can be purchased separately.

There is also a Back Bling for each skin along with two harvesting tools and a glider. If you purchase the Hawkeye Bundle, you’ll receive all five of these items along with the exclusive loading screen.

Here’s it all in the Fortnite Hawkeye Bundle:

  • Clint Barton (Outfit)
  • Kate Biskup (Outfit)
  • Hawkguya Arsenal (Back Bling)
  • Kate’s Quiver (Back Bling)
  • pickross Bow (Harvesting Tool)
  • Taut Slicer (Harvesting Tool)
  • Air Archer (Glider)
  • Hawkeyes (loading screen)

The Fortnite Thanos skin is a cool looking outfit, and you can cause serious havoc on Fortnite Island with the Infinity Gauntlet. The mad titan’s arrival from outer space is a perfect fit for Season 7’s alien theme.

I didn’t actually see Thanos with my own eyes until the very end of my second match, when he jumped into the massive crater where I was hiding — the area known as Dusty Divot — and pulverized the third-place player nearby.

After Thanos recovered, I fired a shot: I threw a Port-A-Fort grenade at him, which created a fort around him. He jumped out of him looking for me.

. It ended relatively quickly.

I got him with a few headshots from my assault rifle and jumped around him as he repeatedly hit and waved the air, but in the end a few blows knocked me out for good and I was defeated. Even so, I started to laugh: because even after my death, I became a child of Thanos.

Overall, I found the new limited-time Infinity Gauntlet game mode in Fortnite to be a blast.

Since the safe zone is set up from the start of the game and the storm moves relatively quickly, each of these matches is pleasantly short. And if someone does find the Infinity Gauntlet – whatever they find – it’ll be easy to keep an eye on Thanos’ location as well as his health. And so overall it feels like a faster version of Battle Royale, with Thanos as a hard-to-kill wildcard. And if you kill that one player, you can wield the Infinity Gauntlet and take on these awesome powers yourself.

Infinity Gauntlet’s games are fun but fast, which is a good thing because it’s so easy to get overwhelmed by Thanos – not to mention over 90 other players on the map.
