Lush Caves is one of the newest entries, providing weird underground areas and lots to explore. Here’s everything we know about them.
The Minecraft’s Caves and Cliffs update is packed with new blocks, new mobs to tame and spawn, and even new biomes like the Lush Caves underground biome.
What do Lush Caves Look Like?
In the Overworld, the Lush Caves biomes on the surface look exactly like those in the Minecraft plains. The area will be filled with trees whose roots hang down to the caves below. Inside the caves themselves, moss grows along the ground of these caves, and vines hang from the ceilings. Players can also find lily-like clumps of moss in the water, clay pools and large pink flowers blooming in the area. There will also be large and small speckled plants as well as glowing berries that illuminate the area. Players can feed bone meal to small dropleaf plants to grow into large plants if their lush caves aren’t lush enough.
