The best builds for Razor in Genshin Impact
Gain an advantage with the handy Genshin Impact Razor.
Are you looking for the best Genshin Impact razor kit? Razor is Princess Mononoke miHoYo, a wolf boy who fights his wild brothers by his side. Armed with a Claymore, the Razor is a useful member of any team. He is a dependable figure, good at everything but lacks greatness. That said, as a four-star character, it’s much easier to come by than some of the more elite individuals from Genshin Impact. Useful for players who want to avoid sacrificing their money to gacha gods.
Genshin Impact can be fun, but since most of the characters are nobility, politicians, or true gods, your team can be a bit aloof. Razor, a boy raised in the wild who speaks broken animal sentences, is a great tool for this. Oh, he’s not bad in battle either. Here’s how to get the Razor in Genshin’s Punch and some Hero Builds once you’ve got it done.

Best Razor build: Weapons
The razor is best equipped with the Wolf’s Tombstone, which greatly increases the damage dealt by a normal attack. The Wolf’s Tombstone is a bit tricky to come by, however, and since Razor is a 4-star character, it’s also amazing with a 4-star weapon. Star Silver with the Snow Tomb is an excellent 4-star option as it increases physical damage and occasionally throws an icicle on enemies that deals damage. Prototype Archaic, which can be easily crafted early in the game, is also great with its ATK Boosts and a 50% chance to inflict an additional 240% ATK DMG. Lastly, Serpent Spine helps raise Razor’s CRIT Ratio and increase the number of DMG characters as their time on the field increases. (Be careful though – this also increases their damage!).

Which artifact set should you use?
The best artifacts for Razor are the Gladiator Final. If you can get the full kit, this would be our number one recommendation. For a bonus to Electric Damage, equip a few items from the Thunder Fury set.
Two equipped: Increases attack by 18%
Four Equipped: If the owner of this kit uses a sword, claymore, or polearm, his normal attack damage is increased by 35%
Two equipped: Electricity damage increased by 15%
Four Equipped: Increases damage from Overload, Electric Charge, and Superconductivity by 40%. Triggering these reactions reduces elemental skill cooldowns by one second. This effect can only occur once every 0.8 seconds

When fighting Razor, start each attack with the press version of Claw and Thunder. Once hit, switch to the regular Razor attack combo, but dash just before the last blow. The final hit from a four-hit combo is very slow and doesn’t deal much damage – perform a dash to cancel the animation and repeat the normal attack combo. You should be able to attack with Claw and Thunder after going through two cycles of normal attacks.
Lightning Fang increases the speed of each attack and grants an additional hit of Elektro damage with each hit. You can use the extra attack speed by landing the entire normal attack combo, as the final strike won’t take that long to land. Equip the Razor with a Wolf’s Headstone to deal as much damage as possible. If you don’t own this five-star weapon, you can build a four-star archaic prototype instead.
Although Razor does damage to Elektro, most of his attacks are dealt with normal attacks. Focus on the Genshin Blast artifacts, which provide bonuses for flat attack, physical damage, and a critical hit ratio. The best four-star option for the Razor is the four-piece Pale Flame kit as it boosts physical damage by 25%. He also gains 9% bonus attack bonus for seven seconds each time he hits enemies with his elemental ability. You can stack this effect twice and when you do so, the 25% physical damage buff increases to 100%.
If you can’t get it, the Gladiator’s Finale Artifact Set is also great for Razor, as it provides a Damage Boost when wearing two of the Set’s items, and increases Razor’s Attack Damage by 35% for Four items.
To maximize the amount of damage you can take from Razor, it’s important to understand how to use your elemental responses effectively. Unlike some of the other DPS characters in Genshin Impact, Razor requires you to constantly swap to different party members as it relies on extra damage from elemental responses. Cryo characters like Qiqi and Diona work well with Razor as you can consistently land superconducting while remaining protected from attacks. Zhongli and Venti also complete the Razor, as they don’t have to be active in combat for a very long time.
