Where to find a family portrait at a shipwreck for Fortnite Week 12 challenge. Where is the family portrait in fortnite

The first family portrait is near this overturned ship south of the landmark. The portrait shows a woman and can be found on the ground between two wooden crates as seen in the image below.

What’s the big deal with Fortnite?

Video games have a bad reputation for taking important family time. But when it comes to Fornite, it couldn’t be further from the truth.

This is a reasonable thing to worry about; after all, any game that makes 400 million a day obviously has some survival power. You may worry that you are wasting time with your family if you play this frequently.

Or maybe you’re a parent who needs to understand why Fortnite has become the main topic of conversation for your kids.

You may even just wonder how you can become more involved in matters your children may be interested in.

A video game like Fornite may be the answer.

Fortnite is a fantastic way to bond with your loved ones.

Fortnite is a successful example of the Battle Royale genre, where 100 players are thrown onto a huge map full of threats, rewards, weapons and events, tasked with defeating each other.

This concept may seem disturbing. Parallels with movies like the Hunger Games come to mind.

However, the overall tone of Fornite isn’t disturbing – in fact, you can even get your hands on a unicorn-themed weapon.

Thanks to Fornite, the whole family can spend time together. And with your watchful eye, you can help them develop healthy habits.

Like taking breaks when things are tough and learning that it’s okay to fail.

Games like Fornite can help you learn invaluable life lessons.

The third and final family portrait is at the southwestern end of the cove. Look for an overturned boat and to the south of it you’ll find a portrait in the sand between two wooden crab traps. Press the interaction button again to “find the family portrait.’

Finding a family portrait will be easy once you know which part of the map you need to visit. As the description of the challenge suggests, you need to visit a shipwreck to get an item.

There are two shipwrecks on the Fortnite map that you can visit:

  • Shipwreck Cove, which is located southeast of Catty Corner.
  • Crashed Cargo, located west of the Island.

These are not places marked on the map, so you may need help finding them. You can view the map above to know exactly where Shipwreck Cove, Crashed Cargo and Sharky Shell are located.

For now, we will focus on Shipwreck Cove as you can find a total of three portraits here. You only need to collect one, so completing the challenge should be easy if you choose to be here.

New Fortnite leak claims lightsabers could return in Star Wars Obi-Wan crossover

Some new Fortnite leaks revealed that the Lightsabers could return as part of the Star Wars Obi-Wan crossover.

Some new Fortnite leaks suggest Epic Games plans to bring the Lightsabers back to Battle Royale as part of the new Star Wars Obi-Wan crossover.

Fortnite is famous for working with other popular franchises. Epic Games introduced a multitude of crossovers from the Star Wars universe to Battle Royale.

The Mandalorian was the protagonist of the Season 5 Battle Pass, and Boba Fett is currently an unlockable skin. Now, some leaks suggest Epic Games is bringing back the Lightsabers as part of the Star Wars Obi-Wan collaboration.

According to the well-known Fortnite leak “FNAssist”, Epic Games re-added the Star Wars lightsaber files in update v19.10. This means they may have plans to bring them back into play in the near future.

Lightsabers are one of the most iconic weapons in movie history and were available as mythical melee weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2. There were four differently colored lightsabers in the game.

Now players are speculating that the weapon could be included in a collaboration with Disney + Star Wars’ upcoming “Obi-Wan” franchise. We can also see how the title character will appear as a new skin.

The main elements of this Fortnite collaboration are the Clint Barton and Kate Bishop outfits. Both characters wear the series’ iconic purple finale costumes, which can be purchased separately.

There is also a Back Bling for each skin along with two harvesting tools and a glider. If you purchase the Hawkeye Bundle, you’ll receive all five of these items along with the exclusive loading screen.

Here’s it all in the Fortnite Hawkeye Bundle:

  • Clint Barton (Outfit)
  • Kate Biskup (Outfit)
  • Hawkguya Arsenal (Back Bling)
  • Kate’s Quiver (Back Bling)
  • pickross Bow (Harvesting Tool)
  • Taut Slicer (Harvesting Tool)
  • Air Archer (Glider)
  • Hawkeyes (loading screen)

If you visit the Fortnite Item Store, you can purchase Clint Barton and Kate Bishop Fortnite Outfits for 1,500 V-Bucks each. You can also get a glider for 800 V-bucks and pickaxes for 500 V-bucks.

Alternately, you can spend 2,400 V-Bucks to get the full Hawkeye Pack, which will include both outfits and accessories. This is quite a lot and a lot cheaper than buying skins individually.

Where To Find Family Portrait

fortnite where to find the family portrait

There are two separate locations where you can find a family portrait, but each main location has two or three locations where you can find a family portrait. So there is no need to visit both main locations shown in the picture above.

Location 1. Lower right corner of the map, in a cove near ‘Catty Corner’.

This location has three separate family portraits to collect, but you only need to find one to take on the challenge.

  • The first one can be found at the northern end of the beach by the bathtub.
  • The second is the lifebuoy south of the beach.
  • The final portrait may be a little further south, near the overturned boat.

Location 2. Upper left corner of the map, in a cove near ‘Sweaty Sands’.

Just like in the first location, this one will have two portraits to collect, but you only need to find one for the challenge.

  • The first portrait is on the left side of the stack of shipping containers
  • The second one is on the right side of the shipping containers

As per the challenge, and according to Newsweek, these inflatable tube llamas should be in front of every gas station on the ‘Fortnite’ map, so if you’ve ever wandered these gas stations, this should be easy for you.

Step Two: Find the Portraits!

All views of the Portretu location.

The above images show what the areas where the portraits are located look like. We will use the Wreckage as the focal point and list the compass direction of each Portrait below.

‘Fortnite’ Season 5, Week 12 Challenges

According to Dexerto, the week will be focused on fishing, so it’s fun to prepare your harpoon gun for quests that will include seven epic quests that will give you 20,000 xp and one legendary quest that will earn you a lot of xp complete once.

With that in mind, here are the missions for Fortnite Season 5 Week 12:

  • Deal damage within 15 seconds of gliding – 200
  • Find a family portrait from a shipwreck – 1
  • Visit a scenic spot, a magnificent gorge and Mount Kay-1
  • Put the fish back in the water – 1
  • Destroy Inflatable Tube Llamas at Gas Stations – 3
  • Harpoon different enemies – 3
  • grab different types of weapons from the fishing grounds – 3

Completing the Tasks

Most of these tasks are rather simple, such as visiting three places that should be marked on the map, and dealing damage by landing at popular landmarks so that more players can shoot or hit the pickaxe.

When it comes to finding a family portrait, Fortnite players can head to Crashed Cargo, west of Sweaty Sands, or maybe Shipwreck Cove, which is southeast of Catty Corner.

Nevertheless, one of the more difficult challenges this week is finding inflatable llamas.

As per the challenge, and according to Newsweek, these inflatable tube llamas should be in front of every gas station on the ‘Fortnite’ map, so if you’ve ever wandered these gas stations, this should be easy for you.

When you find three of these inflatables, just hit them with your pickaxe and they should be destroyed with the confetti exploding.

The first family portrait is in a bathtub on the northeastern side of the cove. Hit the bathtub with a few strokes of the Harvest Tool and it will drop onto the sand, allowing you to interact with it and pick it up.
