As you can see from the table, the main differences between the MacBook Air (MBA) and the MacBook Pro (MBP) are:
- Processors selection. The MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro are older models and only come with an Apple M1 processor. The MacBook Pro 14 ″ and MacBook Pro 16 ″ are the new models that allow you to choose between the M1 Pro and the more advanced M1 Max processors.
- Starting price. The MBA at the entry level is $ 300 less than the MBA at the entry level.
- Battery life. MBP lasts 2 hours longer under the same load as MBA.
- Touch strip. Only the old MacBook Pro (M1 chip) has a Touch Bar. All other models only support Touch ID.
- Libra. MBA is slightly lighter than MBP 13 ″ and MBP 13 ″ is slightly lighter than MBP 14″.
- Fan. MBA doesn’t have a fan.
- Coloring. Only Air has the Gold option.
- Price £. MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13 ″ are much cheaper. The new models start at $ 2,000 and can be too expensive for most people.
MBP 13-inch vs. MBP 14-inch vs. MBP 16-inch
Apple released new MacBook Pro models in October 2021. The new models are equipped with the second generation of Apple’s own processors. They call them M1 Pro and M1 Max.
At the same time, they are still selling the older version of the MacBook Pro 13 ″ (probably not for long), which had the 1st generation of the M1 chip.
The new M1 Pro chip is about 70% faster than the old M1 (if we compare similar 8-core chips). If you need more power, you can upgrade to the 10-core M1 Max, which also comes with a 32-core GPU for better graphics performance.
Charging and Expansion
Users have been complaining for years about the things the company has been doing in recent years: keyboard problems, lack of ports, quirky Touch Bar, and so on.
And finally, Apple seems to have listened to and responded to almost all of the complaints. In fact, the new MacBooks look and function exactly like the old 2015 models.
First they brought a MagSafe port. So now you don’t need to plug the charger into a USB-C port and laptops are safe again. If you trip over your charger, your laptop won’t fall to the floor.
Second, they added a rear HDMI port and an SDXC card slot. No more extra keys!
And you still have three USB-C ports. By the way, you can still charge via USB-C, but MagSafe is much faster.
Video, Camera, and Sound
As with any new model, the 14 ″ and 16 ″ MacBook Pro have better picture and sound. Another nice bonus is the slight camera upgrade. The old 720p camera has been in the MacBooks for the last 7-8 years, and they finally upgraded to a 1080p camera.
MacBook Pro 14″ or MacBook Pro 16″
the 16-inch MacBook Pro is bigger than the 14-inch cousin in every respect: weight, size, memory, RAM, CPU, and of course, price.
It makes no sense to compare them. The question is – do you need such a beast or not? In some cases, yes.
Do you want a laptop whose resolution matches the best monitor for your eyes? If your answer is yes, then this ASUS notebook comes with an HD display. Moreover, the attractive built-in features and elegant design make this laptop a priority for you to choose from the list.

Buying Guide about the best laptop for me quiz:
The following things should be considered when purchasing the best laptop for my quiz. These are:
Libra:
The weight of a laptop is a key factor when buying. Because if you buy a bulky laptop your job requires you to end up in trouble. Therefore, if you want to buy a laptop to carry with you, a lightweight and compact laptop is suggested.
Display Size:
Laptop display size should be checked before purchasing as it is an important aspect. Moreover, a larger display size is better if you are a gamer and video streamer. Thus, the smaller display size is best for working professionals and students. So make sure which category of users you belong to.
Operating system:
As we know, laptops and other digital devices such as tablets, smartphones and PCs run on the operating system. Most of the laptops on the market use three known operating systems, which are Windows, Mac and Chrome OS. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. But the Windows operating system is a widely used operating system all over the world, and next to it is Mac OS which is too simple and simpler.
Battery life:
The battery life in quizzes with the best laptop for me should be at least 7 to 8 hours. However, more than that is perfect. If your laptop has a great battery standby time, you can use it for a long time, which is brilliant. Similarly, a laptop with a short battery life is not suitable for professional use.
Editor:
It is the laptop component that all performance and performance depend on. Therefore, we recommend that you buy a laptop with the latest generation processor. Besides, the CPU with more cores and threads is ideal, as is the Intel Core i7, which is well known for its high-quality performance and high computing power.
I had the same approach to the last two MacBooks I ordered at work. Both 15-inch (now it would be 16-inch) MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM and at least 512 GB of memory.
Best Laptop for me quiz 2021 – Dell XPS 13 9360
As for last year’s model, it turned out great, so it should not be surprising that in the case of the Dell XPS, the company decided to improve minor improvements, not to completely renovate the laptop.
- Dimensions: 302 x 199 x 7.8 mm
- Screen size: 13.3 inch
- RAM: 4 GB | 16 giga bytes
- Mass storage: 256 GB and 512 GB SSD.
- Weight: 1.23 kg
- Battery: up to 21 hours
- Processor: Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 (8th generation)
It is one of the best 13-inch models you can buy today, the XPS series takes the first place in this ranking. The power even surpasses the models of competing brands such as Apple or Windows.
The design is small and compact, it also has impressive aesthetics and great technical specifications, especially if you are looking for a powerful processor. The model includes 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM, weighs 1.23 kg, and the battery is enough for a lot. If you are a student, I consider this to be the best option.
- Good hardware construction
- Fast with good battery life
- Brilliant resolution
Cheap Laptop for me quiz 2021 – Microsoft Surface Laptop
The current model is aesthetically very similar to the previous Microsoft Surface Go model, but offers many significant improvements, such as an 8th generation Intel processor and more GB of memory.
One of the highlights is the color which is available in black which adds elegance. In the case of the aluminum model, the luxury may have been lost over time.
The design, construction, performance, and features make the 2nd Generation Surface Laptop a great purchase option. Though I have to warn you that this laptop’s battery life is below the original model.
If you are a fan of Microsoft and you are also a freelancer / self employed, this laptop is certainly your best option. From the link you have the best price you can find.
- Powerful internal components
- Perfect display
- Light construction

How to choose a laptop
Sometimes you just can’t beat the bigger screen, keyboard, and Windows to do things, then your only choice is your laptop. There are many different types, including hybrids that can be a laptop or tablet, high-end gaming laptops, cheap and cheerful budget models, and even those running macOS instead of Windows 10.
Sometimes the best prices are exorbitant, but you might as well buy a lot of laptops for less than £ 500 or even £ 300 – as long as you only need basic tasks like browsing the web, typing email, and creating strange documents.
About 500 pounds or more can get you a solid laptop, but it will likely have a basic set of specs. We are talking about a relatively basic processor, minimal SSD memory and a relatively low-quality screen. It could also be on the heavy side.
Pay £ 700 or more and you should get a blazing fast processor, lots of RAM, tons of storage, and a great display. You should also expect excellent workmanship and the highest quality materials. A lot of laptops these days are over £ 1000 when you start out with 4K touchscreens and ultra-light designs.
We’ve shown you our favorite laptops available right now and offered some advice on how much to spend, but if you’re still hesitant, we might be able to help further break down your options. Here we discuss screen size, storage, processors and more to help you make up your mind.
What screen size laptop do you need?
Laptop screens range from approximately 11 to 17 inches. A smaller screen may be more difficult to navigate and offer fewer ports, but will be more portable.
A 17 inch laptop, on the other hand, is a desktop replacement laptop and is not designed to be carried around frequently. Overall, 13- or 14-inch is the best choice for portability and usability.
While some cheap laptops have a resolution of 1366×768, there are Full HD, Quad HD and even 4K laptops available. A touchscreen will add to the cost and is generally not needed on a laptop, but it’s an added convenience. Also pay attention to the matte, non-reflective screen.
What you won’t find here is a laptop with a high refresh rate display, with this technology mainly used in gaming hardware. However, there are signs that more consumer laptops with 90Hz and above screens may be coming soon.
Laptops with Mini-LED displays will be available soon.
How much laptop storage do you need?
The amount of memory you need depends on what you want to use the laptop for. Basically, get the most out of your experience without wasting money on updating.
An SSD will help your laptop run faster, but offers less space for files (consider supplementing it with a portable USB drive). You can also use cloud storage – but only if you have an internet connection.
Memory (RAM) is where programs and files are only stored while you’re using them, and more is always better – up to a point. Consider a minimum of 4 GB, unless it’s a Chromebook, preferably 8 to 16 GB.
These Google powered laptops may have a hard time listing them in this chart, but we’ve rounded up the best Chromebooks if they’re more suitable for you. They’re great for basic tasks and online work, but not much else.
Which laptop processor is best?
Unless you are going to run complex and demanding software or games, you don’t need a processor with the highest specs. If you’re looking for something for your gaming experience, we have a separate rundown of the best gaming laptops.
When enabled, this computer will run Windows 11. Some features require specific hardware – see Windows 11 specifications and requirements.
